My name is Gregg Sommerville, I have been working in the golf industry since I was 15 years old- picking up golf balls at my local driving range at night. At the ripe old age of 16 I moved indoors and started working at the reception desk at the same driving range. At the age of 23 I moved to Playsport Golf, where I still work to this day, managing the day to day running of the facility and have been teaching golfers for the last 5 years. I run Junior Golf Scotland out with my day to day work, coaching the future of golf and running events up and down the country! I enjoy all aspects of coaching – nothing beats getting out on the course and coaching out there too!
My coaching philosophy is built around the principle that performance is measured by ball behaviour, not by how a swing looks.
